- Sensory disorders of the feet (e.g. diabetes mellitus)

  • 1 Ensure suitable size and use over intact skin only

     

    2 Place your big toe in the front part of the splint so that the foam padding lies below the bunion joint

     

    3 To secure the splint, guide the narrow Velcro strap around the outside of your foot and through the notch in the splint on the top of your foot. Tighten it until the required correction position is reached, and fasten the strap. Ensure that the product is secure but not so tight that it causes pinching

     

    4 Remove immediately before standing and walking

     

    5 Allow 2-3 weeks adjustment period and expect mild discomfort within this period
