Ossur FormFit Equinus Night Splint
1 Ensure suitable size and use over intact skin only
2 Bend affected knee while placing the splint under the foot. Ensure the affected heel is pushed all the way to the back of the splint
3 Secure the splint with the three horizontal straps and adjust till the foot is secured (observe that the straps are not tight or loose)
4 Refrain from adjusting the two vertical straps -- see a physiotherapist or a podiatrist for adjustments twice a week

- Do not walk or attempt to place weight on the foot while using the device. This is not a weight-bearing device
- Care should be taken not to overtighten the device
- Patients with already compromised blood circulation in their extremities, like those with diabetes or peripheral vascular disease, need to be extra careful and are advised to consult with a healthcare professional before using the device.
